- Assist in the preparation of fixed assets schedules and workings
- Able to deliver timely and accurate Fixed Asset capitalization, disposals, reconciliation
- Review accounts to calculate and make appropriate accruals
- Maintain the integrity of the general ledger by ensuring that all journals posted are complete, accurate, and substantiated
- Research, understand, and interpret accounting standards to be able to apply knowledge on day-to-day workings
- Perform analysis of expenditures and Provide commentaries for variances between actual, forecast, and rolling budgets
- Assist with periodical forecasting and annual budget preparation
- Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations with required supporting documentation, and following up with outstanding items
- Assist in the preparation of lease schedules and workings
- Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders
- Ad-hoc duties as required

- Assists in other areas of the department as necessary.
Education/Training; Tertiary qualifications in Accounting,Experience: Strong MS Excel skills Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides),Elevated vendor service skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to apply knowledge of accounting principles to resolve issues
Ability to take responsibility for your own performance.Other Specific Requirements:
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
- 3 years experience in a similar role in financial accounting
