- Executive leadership role to accelerate enterprise growth across Risk & Human Capital
- Lead our Commercial (Growth & Bids) team to embed sales excellence and Aon United
- Ideal for a senior commercial/sales leader from insurance or financial/professional services
- Partner with executive business owners to construct and deliver commercial growth strategies that position Aon Australia as industry-leading.
- Own portfolio growth across new client acquisition (Risk Capital & Human Capital), including pipeline development, management, and sales capability uplift.
- Partner with business leaders to grow existing clients (new/existing solution-line sales) through Delivering Aon United (DAU) and Aon Client Leadership (ACL) activity.
- Identify incremental organic opportunities with segment leaders and shape arguments for inorganic growth to deliver tangible outcomes.
- Be accountable for new business revenue, client profitability, and client service levels across Aon Australia, with impact across Pacific/APAC.
- Embed best-practice operating standards, including adoption of Aon’s global CRM Aon Connect, and drive high-impact bid management and proposal development.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Commercial (Growth & Bids) team - 4 direct reports and a 26-colleague team - encouraging collaboration and accountability.
- Partner with Marketing to craft demand generation and top-of-funnel activities aligned to market opportunities.
- Align the People Strategy to business goals (goal setting & PMA reviews, colleague engagement, talent & succession, remuneration, and development planning).
- Operational excellence: using data, AI and Aon digital tools (e.g., Analysers) to optimize decisions and outcomes.
- Transformation & change: champion a growth mindset, innovation, continuous improvement, and customer-centricity enterprise-wide.
- Risk & compliance: ensure growth activities meet Australian regulatory requirements and Aon standards
