- Process all daily payments and receipts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Reconcile payment accounts and investigate any discrepancies or errors in a timely manner.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, ensuring all documentation is complete.
- Handle customer and internal queries related to payments and receipts, providing excellent service and clear communication.
- Assist in the preparation of regular financial reports and contribute to month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and internal controls.
- Proactively identify and recommend improvements to payment processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Proven experience in a payments, receipts, or similar financial administration role.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle queries professionally.
- Proficiency with SAP accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- A proactive and organised approach to managing workload and meeting deadlines.
- A solid understanding of financial processes and internal controls.
