Job Description:Your Opportunity:Step into a newly created Finance Manager role where you'll have real influence from day one. This is your chance to take ownership of a finance function in a business on an exciting growth trajectory, with the autonomy to shape processes, drive improvements, and make a measurable impact.Working closely with the Finance Lead, you'll manage end-to-end financial operations, optimise cash flow, and deliver insights that guide strategic decisions. You'll also mentor and develop a capable team, ensuring the function scales effectively alongside the organisation's growth.What you'll do:In this broad and hands-on role, you'll take full ownership of the finance function, overseeing everything from the day-to-day accounting operations through to strategic financial planning.You'll manage the AP and AR processes, ensure the accuracy of financial reporting, and lead the preparation of budgets and forecasts that drive business decisions. Cash flow will be under your control, with your insights helping to safeguard the organisation's financial health and guide future growth. You'll ensure full compliance with Australian accounting standards and tax regulations, while also leading and developing two direct reports, fostering a high-performing, engaged team.Beyond the operational delivery, you'll be the driver of change, identifying opportunities for process improvement, optimising the use of systems like Xero, MYOB, and SAP Ariba, and streamlining reporting for greater efficiency. You'll own the month-end and year-end close, maintain the integrity of the general ledger, and work closely with auditors to uphold compliance.Partnering with key stakeholders, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing reporting capabilities and delivering the financial clarity needed to support ambitious business plans.Who You Are:You're a commercially minded finance professional who pairs strong technical skills with a drive to improve processes and deliver results.   • Proven success in managing cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Solid knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax compliance
  • Experience with Xero, MYOB, and ideally SAP Ariba would be advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Leadership experience, mentoring and developing team members
  • Ability to deliver under pressure while balancing multiple priorities
