With 3000+ members ranging from local community, weekend warriors right through to commercial farmers, the Riverina Co-operative Society provides members with priority benefits, advice and pricing.The RoleAs the Commercial Manager – Machinery, your role is to drive machinery sales to both members and non-members. The sales process is ‘all about the farmer’ - where you will focus on their bespoke needs and provide best-fit solutions. Additionally, with considerable expansion plans approved by the Board and General Manager, the service offering is being expanded providing you with the opportunity to lead the growth of the machinery division.You will use your knowledge of farm machinery at all levels to educate and consult to new and existing clients. As part of this, you will develop trusted relationships with members and non-members to convert sales leads - and to create repeat business. Representation at industry events and field days, will assist you to deliver on the organisation’s core values.The PersonTo be successful in this exciting and team-oriented role candidates will possess:

Experience in farm machinery and an understanding its on-farm application
A strong knowledge of farming production practices
Proven sales experience with a pro-active and commercial mindset
Exceptional customer service and relationship building skills
Revenue, profitability, forecasting and sales pipeline management experience
An interest precision agriculture, coupled with the ability to identify industry trends and to drive new revenue streams
