Key duties will include management of current alliances and contracts, reporting and governance, along with analysis to support strategic initiatives (which may include M&A transactions). Develop presentations, financial models and decision papers to present logic and recommended pathways for initiatives. Project-manage key workstreams for post-merger integration of the businesses.Key responsibilities
  • Manage key client contracts, reporting and governance requirements, and continuous improvement of service delivery and SLAs
  • Establish strong and effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Utilise your understanding of commercial and financial value drivers along with your knowledge of relevant concepts across M&A, commercial and strategic projects
  • Apply commercial and financial acumen to a wide variety of projects and transactions, working closely with senior leaders across the Australian Leadership and Group
  • Work with ONE AU businesses to develop solutions to address the most pressing business problems
  • Lead workstreams and guide analysts on projects
  • Contribute your knowledge and experience in developing team members
About You
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. MBA, Commerce, Economics, Engineering or Law)
  • Experience in evaluating and executing investment opportunities and growth strategies
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, accounting, transaction advisory or corporate development or 4-6 years industry experience in corporate finance, strategy and transformation roles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team (including leading specific workstreams or projects), using your leadership skills to influence outcomes
  • Client and relationship management
  • Financial modelling for new investments and M&A opportunities
  • Preparing client proposals, investment pitchbooks and responses to bids and tenders
  • Strong communication, influencing and presentation skills which enable you to communicate complex concepts simply and effectively
