Access theAbout the roleFixed term temporary full time opportunity to provide high level technical knowledge and skills contributing to the development and implementation of radiolabelling procedures and quality control methodologies for radiopharmaceuticals for use in humans, both in clinical and research applications. Participate in a roster of manufacture and quality control for radiopharmaceuticals to support clinical requests of a State-wide service and relevant stakeholders.About youOur ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
  • Participate in a roster of clinical manufacture and quality control for radiopharmaceuticals, working in a GMP environment and adopt practices that align with a TGA licenced laboratory.
  • Advocate and maintain a safe working environment and be aware of safety policies, procedures and regulatory requirements relevant to the Department.
  • Provide peer support for radiopharmaceutical science through education and training to other laboratory and wider department staff, including safe work practices.
  • Maintain currency and adapt best practice in the field of PET radiochemistry, peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT), targeted alpha therapy (TAT) and closely related disciplines relevant to a State-wide service.
