We are seeking a qualified and experienced Barber to join our team.About the RoleThe successful candidate will provide high-quality barbering services to clients, combining technical expertise with exceptional customer service to maintain our reputation for excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesDiscuss hair, beard, and grooming requirements with clients to determine and recommend appropriate styles and treatmentsCut, trim, and style hair using clippers, scissors, razors, and other barbering toolsShave and trim beards and moustaches using traditional techniques, including hot towel treatments and straight-edge razorsClean, style, and maintain beards, moustaches, and hairpiecesWash hair and apply treatments such as tonics, conditioners, and grooming productsMaintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation of the work area, tools, and equipment in line with health and safety regulationsKeep up to date with current men’s grooming trends, tools, and techniquesSkillsAdvanced cutting techniques including fades, tapering, and scissor-over-combSkilled in beard trimming, shaping, and stylingProficiency in hot towel shaves and straight razor workStrong interpersonal and customer service skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standardsHigh attention to detail and personal presentationQualifications and ExperienceCertificate III in Hairdressing or Barbering (or equivalent)At least one year of full-time employment at the required skill level as a barber or hairdresser, including men’s grooming servicesDemonstrated expertise in both classic and contemporary men’s stylesThis position is being advertised by At Ease Solutions on behalf of the employer.
