Canberra Truck Repairs are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Diesel Mechanic to join their team in Queanbeyan.The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:- Maintain, test and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems and Hydraulic systems on vehicles and other heavy plant machinery/equipment
- Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other parts of vehicles, and other heavy plant machinery/equipment
- Do routine maintenance, such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and parts on vehicles and other heavy plant machinery/equipment
- Undertake inspections, assessments and maintenance on Vehicles, and other heavy plant machinery/equipmentSkills & Abilities:- Ideally have a minimum of 4 years' experience as a qualified Diesel Mechanic
- A Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology /Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or relevant
