- Provide safe compassionate person centred care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care in collaboration with individual/s and the multidisciplinary health care team to achieve quality care outcomes for patients and clients in Sexual Health Services.
- Provide high level nursing care, contact tracing and client follow up, health promotion and prevention intervention to people at risk of or presenting with sexually transmissible infections (STIs) and blood borne viruses (BBV) as per local and state policies.

To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Approved post-registration qualifications in the speciality field relevant to the position with at least 3 years' fulltime recent experience working in the clinical area, and have the ability to undertake further studies in the area of Sexual Health and HIV as required.
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge and understanding of current issues related to the transmission and prevention of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and Blood Borne Viruses (BBVs) including viral hepatitis and harm minimisation principles.
- Demonstrated ability to carry out an extended role and demonstrated ability to exercise extended autonomy of decision making capabilities and leadership in the development of nursing specialty clinical practice and service delivery.
- Demonstrated clinical expertise in client consultancy with the ability and willingness to work autonomously, accept responsibility and the ability to prioritise work practices.
- Demonstrated skills in developing and conducting educational sessions and providing clinical teaching.
- Demonstrated functional knowledge of data management principles and a high level of computer literacy.
- Current unrestricted NSW driver's license and the ability to work across various locations within the Far West LHD boundaries.
