Experienced Senior Vehicle Service AdvisorCairns, Far North Queensland, Brisbane Queensland,Experienced Service Advisor with current dealership experience encouraged to apply.$7,500 Combination Sign on & Retention BonusOur client is a multi-Franchise New Vehicle Dealership with a dedicated Service Centre providing all levels of servicing to their loyal customers.Their multi award-winning Service Department experiencing solid growth with numerous improvements to their service process. We now need to add an Experienced Service Advisor to their great service team.If you enjoy dealing with the public and are wanting a career within a stable company with an expanding customer base, then joining us as an Experienced Service Advisor is perfect for a person passionate about the automotive industry.You will have at least 2 years’ experience as a high performing Service Advisor with exceptional sales skills and 5 Star CSI/NPS scores to support your experience. You may already have extensive professional knowledge of the workings of the modern car and are wanting to ‘come off the tools’ or you could be an enthusiast and a quick learner. This role is the bridge between being a technical specialist and a sales professional and many great sales careers have started in this role.About the role.As a Service Advisor you are a key member of the service team, your role is to make the service processes for our loyal clients as simple and quick as possible from the first contact to delivering the serviced vehicle back to the customer.To excel in this role, you need a combination of good administrative skills, attention to detail have great time management skills and the confidence to communicate with a wide range of people.Specifically, the job involves,

Booking clients in for service or repairs
Communicating with the technicians and workshop controller to establish the extent of work required and liaison with our parts team on parts availability.
Prepare pricing estimates of service repair orders.
Communicating with customers to explain the work involved, gain their approval to proceed and provide regular updates on the progress of their vehicles.
Dealing with Service Warranty Claims
Working through paperwork to ensure we are complying with Manufacturer Procedures
Working closely with the Service Manager and the Workshop Controller to ensure all jobs are completed in a timely manner.
Working through customer concerns
Banking and some basic administration duties
Assisting with training of junior Service Advisors
