Purpose & Overall Relevance for the OrganisationThe Commercial Sales Analyst is a key driver of adidas Pacific’s Wholesale RFC, Budgeting, and Financial Reporting functions. Partnering with Finance and Sales Leadership, this role ensures consistent structures, accurate reporting, and data-driven decisions across the wholesale business. You’ll also coach and upskill the broader Wholesale Sales & Planning team, building financial acumen across the organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesBudgeting & ForecastingLead the annual Pacific Wholesale target-setting process with Finance and Sales Director.Oversee monthly RFC and IBP submissions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment to business expectations.Drive seasonal forecasting milestones across Wholesale to support sales and financial planning.Reporting & AnalysisDevelop and manage Power BI dashboards to provide real-time visibility of key performance metrics.Deliver reporting on sales performance vs. budget targets (RFC & dashboards).Track GTM sell-in results and support Wholesale with actionable insights.Manage Business on Hand reporting, including order book conversion and contracts.Monitor sell-out, demand, and overstock through Power BI dashboards.Sales Operations LeadershipLead, coach, and develop the Sales Operations Representative.Guide the Wholesale Sales & Planning team on financial topics and reporting best practices.Partner with channel leads to ensure ownership of budget and RFC targets.KPI’sOn-time and accurate delivery of budgeting and forecasting processes.Timely submission of monthly RFC and IBP reports.Full delivery of seasonal forecasting and sales milestones.Key CompetenciesAnalytical Thinking: Skilled at interpreting complex data, identifying trends, and driving insights.Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.Retail Metrics Knowledge: Strong grasp of ST, WOH, GM, and other key KPIs.Stakeholder Management: Ability to engage, influence, and align cross-functional teams.Technical Expertise: Proficient in Power BI, Excel, and reporting systems.Communication: Clear, concise, and able to simplify complex data for broad audiences.Collaboration: A team player who coaches, supports, and uplifts colleagues.Results Orientation: Accuracy, timeliness, and delivery against business objectives.Key RelationshipsInternal: Pacific Sales, Finance, IT Solutions, Master Data, Customer Service, Supply Chain.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities3+ years’ experience in Sales Analysis.Strong Power BI and Excel skills required.Industry experience in Sporting Goods, Fashion, or FMCG preferred.Exposure to sports industry an advantage.Requisite Education & Experience / Minimum QualificationsUniversity degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred (not essential with relevant experience).Focus on Finance, Sales, or Analytics strongly valued.
