UGL is currently looking for an experienced Regional Commissioning Manager to become a key member of the team based in Perth.About the roleThe role of Regional Commissioning Manager is to ensure successful commissioning and handback in accordance with T&C standards and contractual requirements.
- Review the design and identify areas of improvement to aid the T&C programme and/or ability to commission systems.
- Develop a robust scope of works for each T&C Package.
- Define T&C Strategy, planning and deliver Test and Commissioning activities.
- Checking & verifying all resources have the correct competency required to deliver the tasks.
- Auditing of testing documentation to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
- Monitoring of testing activities against the program and reporting progress.
- Manage T&C compliance, quality assurance, processes & tools to ensure continuous improvement.
- Provide leadership, direction, supervision and inspirational management to all team members.
- Degree in electrical engineering.
- Experience in Mechanical and Electrical packages on large Utilities Infrastructure projects preferably with Substation experience.
- Experience in managing a team, creating a collaborative and inclusive environment.
- Australian Driver’s License.
- Degree in a related Engineering discipline.
- Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills.
