with NV2 ClearanceInfinite Consulting is seeking an experienced Sr. AUTOCAD Software Technical Drawing Officer for our esteemed Federal Government Client. The initial contract is until April 2026 with 2x12 months further options to extend based on funding and approval.About the Role:You will join a small team focused on providing expert advice and management of the Department's CAD and PDF drawings. These drawings encompass all aspects of construction design, including floor plans, electrical layouts, data and communications diagrams, as well as ICT network connection schematics, adhering to the specified classified levels.

Proficiency in the AUTOCAD software package is essential for these roles, as it will be the primary tool used for creating and managing these drawings.
Additional responsibilities will include large format printing and plotting tasks.
Evaluate the design for thoroughness and compliance with current building and construction regulations.
Offer professional guidance and direction to stakeholders while supporting subject matter experts in the design process.
Offer strategic counsel and direction to stakeholders, encompassing technical recommendations.

Technical skills: * Possess a minimum of 10 years' experience with AUTOCAD software and have developed strong proficiency in its applications.

Be well-versed in building codes and industry standards relevant to construction.
Technical qualifications or education in drafting or a related discipline are preferred but not mandatory.
