We’re currently searching for experienced and trade-qualified Automotive Electricians to join a leading team in Bayswater, working on heavy vehicles including trucks and trailers. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with stability, a great team culture, and ongoing career development. This is a permanent, full time position.About the Role
You’ll be responsible for electrical fit-outs, diagnostics, repairs and upgrades on a range of heavy vehicles and trailer systems. From lighting and wiring through to custom electrical installations, you’ll play a key role in keeping Australia’s leading vehicles on the road.Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical installations and fit-outs on trucks and trailers.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in wiring systems, lighting, switches, and controls.
  • Install and service batteries, alternators, starter motors, and other electrical components.
  • Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
  • Conduct pre-delivery inspections and ensure all systems are functioning correctly.
  • Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with safety standards and company procedures.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed, parts used, and job status.
  • Collaborate with production and mechanical teams to deliver high-quality builds.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training opportunities.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.

What We’re Looking For
  • Trade-qualified Automotive Electrician (Certificate III or equivalent) - ESSENTIAL
  • Prior experience working on heavy vehicles or trailers.
  • Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and wiring skills.
  • Able to read and interpret wiring schematics and diagrams.
  • Safety-conscious and team-oriented.
