- Production Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and capacity constraints.
- Capacity Planning: Analyze production capabilities and constraints to ensure optimal utilization of machinery, labor, and materials.
- Workflow Optimization: Apply mechanical/industrial engineering principles to improve manufacturing processes, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
- Inventory Management: Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitor production performance metrics and generate reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, quality assurance, procurement, and logistics teams to align production plans with business goals.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, equipment issues, and scheduling conflicts.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or other highly related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in production planning or manufacturing operations.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with CAD software and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on efficiency and quality.
- Team-oriented with a proactive approach to collaboration.
