Clearance: National Police Check + Ochre Card RequiredAbout the RoleCloudstreet Consulting is seeking an experienced Application Support Lead to support our government client in delivering and maintaining mission-critical digital business systems. The successful candidate will join a specialised team within the Department of Corporate and Digital Development, dedicated to managing the lifecycle of core business systems for the Department of Education and Training (DET) and other NTG client agencies.You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering expert support, technical leadership, and end-to-end lifecycle management to ensure these systems run efficiently, securely, and aligned with strategic goals.Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage the delivery of effective and efficient agency’s business systems support, maintenance and enhancements and ensure strategic objectives and operational requirements are achieved.
- Lead the complete software lifecycle management for business systems in partnership with service providers, including analysis, design, development, testing, documentation and delivery of solutions to problems and requests for change.
- Foster a positive workplace culture through exemplary leadership practices and role modelling appropriate behaviour and collaborating with other teams across DCDD to ensure agency systems meet strategic and operational needs through best practice and a multidisciplinary approach to service delivery and support.
- Establish and maintain sound working relationships with partners, and monitor the performance of, external service providers to ensure the effective operation of the Agency’s business systems.
- Provide support for ongoing and future technical projects for client agency business

- Demonstrated experience in application lifecycle management to meet the evolving needs of client agencies in a complex integrated environment.
- Provide technical guidance, analysis, troubleshooting and support with knowledge of distributed business system technologies in a hybrid enterprise environment including SQL and .NET
- Demonstrated experience managing service providers, providing direction and working collaboratively to deliver a high-level of service to stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in service delivery management tools including incident, problem, change, defect, test, and release management processes and related activities.
- Demonstrated experience in creating and maintaining high-quality technical, service and support documentation.
- High level social and written skills with ability to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a large team environment with members of diverse cultures and backgrounds.
- Self-starter with high personal drive and a positive attitude.
