We have a fantastic leadership opportunity for an experience Audit Manager to join our fast growing Audit division. We have teams in both Sydney CBD and Parramatta, and are open to you working in either, or both, whichever is your preference.You will be working directly with the Partners, taking ownership of an existing portfolio including mature privately-owned businesses, quality not-for-profit entities, as well as small to medium sized listed and unlisted public companies, with a focus on providing guidance and mentorship to a team of highly talented individuals.You will be a people focused individual, who will maintain and continue to build close client relationships, actively pursuing new business opportunities and continually reviewing and improving our audit methodology and practices as well as overseeing the delivery of first-class service that includes audit and audit related services including all aspects of the statutory audit process including; assistance in planning of audit assignments, including assessments of business and related risks; and execution of assignments.A little bit about You:As a true leader, we are not only looking for a driven and motivated individual who wants to drive their own career to the next level, but also someone who relishes the opportunity to guide and develop more junior team members.You will have excellent technical knowledge of local and international audit standards; IFRS; experience with auditing large proprietary and small cap publicly listed companies; sound understanding of internal control requirements for accounting and computer systems.You will have approximately 5+ years experience and be CA, ACA or ACCA qualified, and possess a degree in Commerce, Economics or similar discipline, majoring in Accounting or Business is essential.Why William Buck:At William Buck, we have a belief of 'Changing Lives' across everything we do, including clients, colleagues and community.We're recognised as one of Australia's top mid-tier Accounting firms, with over 45 Directors and 250 team members across Sydney and Parramatta.We create opportunities for our people and support their development to ensure bright futures and continued career growth, and we're looking for more driven and aspiring individuals to join us!A few of our Benefits:
