At Retailworld mornings kick off with a quick huddle, a strong coffee (if that's your thing) and clear priorities to set you up for a productive day.As an experienced recruiter, you'll join us at Principal Consultant level - experienced, well networked with a proven track record of success. You will have full ownership of a permanent recruitment desk - working with established luxury clients and continue to build & expand your book of business. We are fast paced, people focused and constantly evolving. As you know, no one day is the same.Most of your day will be spent connecting with high calibre talent, continuing to develop a very warm desk, becoming a trusted partner with your customers - candidates and clients and working on roles that are critical.The Role:The aim of the game is to achieve and or exceed your sales target through effective delivery of recruitment assignments, managing both clients and candidates within the designated industry sector. To the market, you should be the recruiter of choice to both clients and candidates in your designated sector. A high achiever who is inspirational across Retailworld and the wider RWR Group. You have initiative, can identify and take the lead in opportunities for the wider business.You'll have the commercial maturity to understand business needs, ask the right questions and tailor your approach accordingly. Whether you're taking a brief, pitching talent, managing offers or providing advice, you know how to have momentum and keep close to the dollar!You'll be comfortable working to goals and KPI's, self managing your desk and driving activity in a way that aligns with both short and long term success. You'll also play an active role in team culture and development - contributing ideas, sharing wins and collaborating to get results.Experience & Competency Checklist:
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of agency recruitment experience, with a genuine interest in the retail industry
  • To the market, you should be the permanent recruiter of choice to both clients and candidates in the retail sector
  • Experience in managing direct report(s)
  • Polished interpersonal skills tailored to meet the expectations of our most distinguished clients
  • Adapts and works effectively in a changing environment
  • Is dedicated to exceeding the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
  • Displays empathy. Responds supportively to others' emotions, feelings, concerns
  • Strong commercial acumen; you understand your clients' businesses, market challenges and ability to consult with data-led insights
  • Steps up and leads the team in time when support is needed
  • You don't like to sit on an island - your preference is to hunt in packs!
  • You enjoy fast paced environments, hitting the phone all day!
