Service Delivery Directorate - Child Youth & Family DivisionAbout the roleAs an Aboriginal Consultant Officer at the Child Wellbeing Unit you will be joining a team of Child Protection and Wellbeing experts who conduct Child Protection and Wellbeing risk appraisals as well as assist and advise NSW Health workers to respond to vulnerable children, young people and families.The Aboriginal Consultant Officer provides specialist advice and support to the team, and engages with stakeholders to increase confidence, awareness and appropriate responses to Aboriginal children and families for early intervention to prevent escalation into the statutory system.To find out more about the role click to view theA career with Western NSW means you can challenge yourself, make an impact and shape the future of rural health.
