We are currently seeking FIFO Batch Plant Operators/HR Agitator Drivers to join our Western Region Mobiles Team.We are looking for candidates who are passionate about safety, hold a strong work ethic and are results focused. Effective communication and a willingness to go the extra mile for our customers is essential. Experience operating an agitator is highly regarded.These are fixed term positions with the potential to be extended and move on to other projects.
The swings we have on offer are 2:1 and 3:1 which are dependent on the project.
FIFO locations will be out of Perth.What You Will Do When Batching:Overseeing the operation of a concrete batch plantOperating a front-end loader (FEL)Monitor automated controls to ensure correct batching proportionsEnsure all products adhere to strict quality requirementsCommunicate with truck drivers delivering or collecting concreteCoordinate with construction teams to align batching and pouring schedulesMonitoring all plant and equipment, scheduling & conducting maintenance as requiredManaging maintenance & production tasks, which includes some level of manual handlingQuickly identify and resolve problems with equipment or mix quality to avoid project delaysWhat You Will Do When Driving:Drive reliable and well-maintained equipmentLoad and deliver concrete to our customersOperate and maintain a concrete agitator truckGeneral concrete plant maintenanceWhat You Bring to The Table:Hold a HR or HC Drivers Licence - essentialAgitator truck experience preferred however, willing to train the right personCurrent White Card or ability to obtain if successfulFront end loader ticket & experience - desirableHave a professional work ethic with a customer service oriented attitudeA Mechanical aptitude and ability to solve problemsHave a high regard for safety policies and proceduresWhat's In It For You:Excellent hourly rate plus an hourly site allowance, with guaranteed minimum hours including OTBe part of highly recognised global brand name and growing organisationOngoing career and development opportunitiesHeidelberg Materials Australia is an equal opportunity employer, and we employ people from all walks of life.
