Prepare, load and detonate explosives in accordance with safety regulations and blast designs
Conduct pre-blast inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
Collaborate with drillers and supervisors to execute accurate blast patterns
Maintain and secure explosives, ensuring proper storage and handling
Complete and maintain accurate blast reports and documentation
Monitor environmental conditions to minimize impact from blasting activities
Ensure the blast area is cleared and secured before detonation

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Minimum 4 Years' experience in drill and blast operations
Electronics experience advantageous
Current Dangerous Goods Security Card
Current Shot Firer Licence
Current Drivers Licence (manual essential)
HR Licence (advantageous)
Knowledge of explosives and blasting techniques
Strong communication skills
