As a Delivery Driver – Route Support, you’ll play a key frontline role as the face of the company while out on the road. You’ll be responsible for covering established delivery and pick-up routes, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to a variety of customers. The role involves up to 20–40 multi-drops per day, and you’ll be expected to support across different routes as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload your truck daily, managing items weighing between 5kg and 50kg.
- Complete daily multi-drop delivery and pick-up runs across metro Adelaide.
- Represent the company professionally, engaging with customers confidently and respectfully.
- Respond calmly and reliably to unexpected changes or delivery issues.
- Support colleagues across other delivery runs as required.
- Maintain delivery records using smartphones or tablets.
- Uphold safety standards, particularly in manual handling practices.
- A valid MR Driver’s Licence.
- Strong physical fitness and stamina – you’ll be climbing in and out of your vehicle frequently throughout the day.
- A reliable, steady worker who can follow procedures and stay focused on the job.
- Confident and respectful communicator who can build positive customer relationships.
- Comfortable working independently and sticking to timeframes.
- Sound attention to detail and good organisational habits.
- Experience in delivery driving with strong exposure to customer service, or furniture delivery.
