Job Description:As a Finance Systems Accountant, you'll sit at the intersection of finance and technology. You'll play a critical role in maintaining, optimising, and supporting the financial systems landscape - particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O). This is a key position offering extensive exposure to exciting finance projects, system upgrades, and new implementations across the business.Key Responsibilities:
Act as the go-to SME for D365 F&O within the finance team
Support day-to-day financial systems operations, including troubleshooting, system reconciliations, and month-end support
Drive enhancements and continuous improvements across finance systems and related processes
Partner with IT and external vendors on system upgrades, testing, and implementations
Lead or support finance-related projects including automation initiatives and reporting optimisation
Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline workflows and improve system use across departments
Maintain robust documentation, controls, and data integrity standards
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience as a Finance Systems Accountant or similar finance systems-focused role
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O (essential)
Excellent understanding of accounting principles and finance processes
Comfortable working cross-functionally with finance, IT, and operations teams
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work full-time in-office (5 days/week) in South Sydney
