An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Specialist/Consultant General Physician - an interest and or expertise in Respiratory, Gastroenterology or another subspecialty would be highly desirable but not essential, to join a hospital in a beautiful coastal location.The role of the Senior Staff Specialist is to provide high quality clinical and non-clinical services to benefit the patients/clients directly or indirectly. This includes research as well as teaching the health professionals of the future.

You will be expected to provide high-quality, expert clinical services across the Health Service.The Hospital:
An acute 142-bed Hospital, that works in close partnership with the other nearby 80-bed Hospital to deliver high quality health care to the community. A comprehensive range of health care services are available including acute inpatient and outpatient services and community health, oral health, and community mental health services, some of which are provided at off campus sites.The Hospital has built a reputation for excellence especially in professional education and attracts medical and nursing programs in conjunction with several renowned Queensland universities.Location:
Just over three hours’ drive or a quick 45-minute flight from Brisbane. Fellowship of the Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) is preferred, as recognised by the Australian Medical Council, including maintenance of CPD and good standing as required by AHPRA for the maintenance of Specialist Registration.Benefits:
