We are seeking a dedicated HSE Coordinator with experience in high-rise residential projects to join our client's team in Gold Coast. If you are passionate about construction safety and proactive in advancing health and environmental awareness, we encourage you to apply.Responsibilities:- Implement and monitor company health, safety, and environmental policies to ensure compliance at our high-rise residential construction sites.- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to manage potential safety hazards effectively.- Develop and enforce site-specific safety plans and initiatives.- Coordinate with project managers and other construction staff to promote and integrate safety measures.- Organise and lead safety training sessions for site personnel.- Prepare and maintain reports on accidents and violations and determine their causes; recommend preventive measures.- Stay updated with all applicable HSE regulations and ensure all aspects of site operations adhere to legal standards.Qualifications:- Proven experience as an HSE Officer in the high-rise residential construction industry.- Leadership, and motivational skills.- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.- Certification in occupational health and safety required.- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Advance Diploma or a Cert IV.Gemco Recruitment, founded in Australia in 2010, is a niche recruitment agency specialising in the construction sector, with a strong focus on placing Project Managers, Site Managers, Foremen, and Safety Professionals.
