Our client is a Not for Profit organisation is seeking a talented Business/Finance Analyst to support the team, based in Brisbane's Westside.You will be a commercially astute finance professional with a hands-on approach and have the ability to communicate with a broad range of stakeholders across the business. This is an exciting opportunity to keep developing your career as the business expands.This is starting as an initial 3-month contract with potential to extend, best suiting someone who can start immediately.The RoleReporting to the Accounting Manager, the role will focus on:

Conducting thorough analysis of large data sets to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement.
Generate reports and provide insights to management
Building financial models using Excel
Strategically partner with senior management regarding review of performance, evaluation of business practices and optimising opportunities
Maintain strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders

About YouThis role is ideal for someone from a qualified Finance background, who brings excellent data analysis skills and is strong in financial modelling.

Tertiary Qualifications in Finance & Accounting
Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, within a complex commercial business
Strong analytical skills
Experience dealing with large data sets
Strong excel & financial modelling skills
