From renewable energy farms to civil infrastructure and high-rise developments, you’ll be at the centre of assessing risk, setting terms and protecting some of Australia’s most exciting builds.What You’ll Do
- Assess the technical details of construction projects to set insurance terms, pricing and policy clauses
- Work with brokers, loss adjusters, claims teams and risk engineers
- Analyse materials, build methods, environmental risks, testing/commissioning and project timelines
- Keep all compliance and admin requirements on track
- Build strong, lasting relationships across the industry
- Insurance professionals with several years’ experience looking to specialise in construction and engineering underwriting
- OR engineering/technical professionals with at least 2–3 years’ experience (ideally including time on site) ready to move into insurance
- Strong problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills
- Confident communicator who can explain technical concepts clearly
- IT savvy with great attention to detail
- Self-driven and able to work independently
