- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of Capral’s, product range and services with the ability to provide quotes and direct sell within Capral guidelines.
- Provide quality and efficient internal and external customer service through the daily management of the customer service team to include motivating, coaching, counselling, training, and problem solving.
- Ensure customer service calls are answered in a timely, efficient, and knowledgeable manner.
- Review total credits and ensure levels are kept to a minimum.
- Provide customers with updated status of orders, lead times and other information as required or requested by customers.
- Qualify and pass on to Account Manager sales leads and market information.
- Resolve employee issues; address disciplinary and / or performance problems immediately in accordance with Capral’s process.
- Evaluate processes and procedures with a view to improving area operations, efficiency, and service to both internal and external customers.
- Take full accountability for personal safety and well-being, develop an understanding of risk minimisation, and be committed to achieving the highest possible standards for Safety, Health and the Environment (SH&E).
- Experience in a similar role and industry.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
- Advanced communication skills including the ability to express self clearly and concisely in written and verbal communication.
- Intermediate to Advanced IT skills in sales analysis and transaction processing.
- Experience leading and motivating a team; setting expectations and leading by example.
- Experience managing performance targets.
- Some limited travel as required.
