This is a permanent full-time role, offering a rewarding opportunity to lead and innovate within a progressive regional cancer service.A unique opportunity is available for a Consultant Oncologist to take on a senior leadership role as Head of Cancer Services within a well-established regional health network.This role offers the chance to shape and lead high-quality, integrated oncology care across a broad service area, with a strong focus on multidisciplinary collaboration, clinical leadership, education, and continuous improvement.You will deliver expert oncology care and oversee the coordination of cancer-related services across medical oncology, surgery, and community-based support. Working closely with teams across emergency, inpatient and outpatient services, Aboriginal health, pathology, and radiology, you will drive cohesive, patient-centred care.The role also involves supervising junior doctors, contributing to clinical teaching, and participating in service development and governance activities. Strong external relationships with metropolitan cancer centres, visiting specialists, and referring GPs are key to the role, alongside involvement in broader education and research initiatives.Indicative Total Remuneration up to $713,692 p.a.
