This is a great opportunity to join a team of qualified tradespersons, responsible for maintaining and repairing Fortescue's non-processing infrastructure.Work Location: Across all Fortescue Pilbara Operations - predominately Port HedlandRoster: 14D14R - FIFO ex PerthKey Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe, high-quality planned and reactive maintenance of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning assets
  • Maintain assets accros Fortescues site and camp facilities - including camps, offices, workshops, labratories, fuel storage facilities and waste/potable water treatment plants
Qualifications and Experience
  • Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Refrigeration/Air Conditioning) - dual traded Electricians will also be highly regarded
  • Current West Australian Electrical License
  • Senior first aid / CPR
  • Current Refrigerant Handling License
  • Previous fault finding and repair experience on air conditioning split systems, closed-circuit water chillers, ice machines etc
  • Effective communication & interpersonal skills, including report writing
  • Ability to time manage, organise & prioritise workload
  • Flexibility to work across a wide range of refrigeration disciplines
  • Competent in reading technical manuals/plans/schematics
  • Sound problem solving skills
  • WA Class C Driver's Licence
