Why not see where we can go?Job DescriptionThis is a newly created Senior Partnership Manager – Retirement role, reporting to the Head of Product and Retirement. Your primary focus will be working with a key industry fund partner to implement a retirement solution that enables the partner to achieve their Retirement Income Strategy goals, as well as their key member outcomes in retirement.This is a permanent role, working flexibly from our Melbourne office.In this role you will:
  • Support in running partner facing workshops with representatives from Product, Pricing, Member Experience, Technology, Digital present across the fund.
  • Manage the partnership stream to ensure deliverables are provided including key external facing materials to support implementation activities with the fund partner.
  • Own key governance and commercial streams and work closely with TAL’s legal team to own the process end-to-end.
  • Negotiate, deliver and monitor commercial terms that achieve joint goals, where relevant.
  • Work with the partner to implement new propositions, member engagement on retirement and related digital solutions.
  • Lead discussions on product design change.
  • Deliver excellent service through insightful reporting, and act as an escalation point for service escalations, ensuring TAL delivers to agreed business plans and service standards.
  • Create and manage internal structures to ensure TAL business units are accountable for delivery.
  • Identify, assess, and deliver strategic initiatives to grow the partnership in line with agreed business plans.
Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in a related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working in superannuation, retirement incomes and/or life insurance
  • Experience in developing solutions for wholesale/institutional clients
  • Strong knowledge of current and proposed regulations impacting superannuation and life insurance industry
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
