- Oversee food quality control, menu development, and presentation standards
- Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff for optimal performance
- Collaborate with internal teams (kitchen, bar, operations, marketing) to ensure high-quality service and venue success
- Manage food costs, budgets, and profitability while meeting revenue targets
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, innovations, and best practices
- Assist with front-of-house operations and function service as required.
- 5+ years’ experience as a Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie ready to step up
- Relevant professional certifications in kitchen operations or hospitality
- Knowledge of food costing, menu planning, and kitchen management
- Strong leadership and organisational skills to manage a diverse team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build relationships with staff, guests, and suppliers
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a high-volume environment
- National Police Check
