- Provide personalised support to older individuals in accordance with their unique needs and preferences.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including personal care, domestic tasks and activity support.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes independence and community engagement.
- Follow and contribute to the customer's care plan.
- Maintain and ensure completion of documentation, while maintaining confidentiality.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
- A passion for supporting choice and independence.
- High level customer service experience.
- Ability to work short shifts.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team to support the well-being of customers.
- Willingness to travel between customers' homes and attend site base training.
- Administrative and computer skills
- Ability to operate a smart phone.
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or equivalent
- Current First Aid Certificate including CPR.
- COVID-19 vaccinations (including booster, if eligible)
- A current Police Check suitable for unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups (no less than 12 months old)
- A current Drivers Licence and access to own vehicle.
