Join the Lahoud Laboratory at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology as a Research Fellow and delve into ground-breaking research on dendritic cells and their role in damage recognition.As a Level A research-only academic, you'll play a vital role in:

Conducting innovative research projects under limited supervision, contributing to publications and presentations
Managing multifaceted projects, overseeing research by students to achieve project goals
Utilizing advanced laboratory techniques including molecular biology, flow cytometry, and protein expression
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and attending conferences to expand your professional network
Contributing to ethics, biosafety, and compliance applications
Mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students in your field of expertise
Developing research-related materials for teaching purposes
Engaging in departmental meetings and committees to contribute to the academic community

To qualify, you'll need:

A doctoral qualification in Immunology and/or Molecular Biology
Expertise in recombinant protein/antibody engineering and immunotherapeutic approaches
Strong analytical and manuscript preparation skills, evidenced by a track record of research publications
Proficiency in animal models, molecular biology techniques, and flow cytometry
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Awareness of confidentiality and privacy principles
Computer literacy with Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new software
