We strive to make the world healthier and more sustainable through innovation developed across a broad range of Imaging, Information and Monitoring systems.Your OpportunityAn exciting opportunity has recently become available for an experienced Account Manager to join our high performing sales team. Based in Melbourne and looking after VIC/TAS. You will be instrumental in developing and managing numerous business strategies to achieve profitable business relationships across our entire Hospital Patient Monitoring and Emergency Care portfolio, consisting of market leading patient monitoring devices, networks, information and telemetry systems. Your extensive Medical Device sales experience coupled with your ability to influence at all levels within the Hospital network will be key to your success in the role.Every day will offer new and exciting challenges, selling some of the Healthcare Industry’s most innovative medical Equipment. You will be required to build high level business relationships both internally and externally, constantly being aware of current and future market trends with respect to customer and overall industry, and execute a planned approach to maximizing sales volumes and margins. This will include; ensuring a broad understanding of Philips products, negotiating sales and terms, submitting tenders and maintaining an accurate and relevant sales funnel for all sales leads within the territory. You will also have overall responsibility for the coordination of product demonstrations, efficient product delivery and ongoing clinical and technical support.You will be working as part of a highly experienced team of Account Managers, all with a shared goal of delivering top quality service to customers. More broadly, you will be part of the Philips Healthcare team and have daily interactions with stakeholders from across the business such as Clinical Applications Specialists, Engineers and Product Managers.You’re the right if:
  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent, with a strong clinical background / experience
  • Medical Device sales experience, within a hospital environment is preferrable and experience with Network, Software, IT will also be highly regarded.
  • Understanding of the sales processes with the ability to protect and grow market share
  • Experience in analyzing and manipulating complex data and building territory plans.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and cross functional stakeholder experience with the ability to influence at all levels within business.
  • The ability to work under pressure, dealing with conflicting priorities
