Senior Systems EngineerAre you ready to take your expertise to new heights? We're on the lookout for a Senior Systems Engineer to join our stellar team to provide operational and project-based services for NEC to our customers. These services include operational monitoring, management and support of both on premises and public cloud infrastructure, across a variety of technologies for government customers.Skills & Experience
  • Implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting of Server infrastructure.'
  • Exposure to public cloud technologies
  • Highly analytical and detail oriented, with the ability to communicate technical language and clearly articulate solutions to clients and a varied audience,
  • High analytical and detail oriented, with the ability to communicate technical Language and clearly articulate solutions to clients.
  • Understand ITIL and ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and HPSM
  • Enjoy having autonomy as well as working in a local team environment.
Sound Knowledge of
  • Windows Server Operating Systems
  • Active Directory, Group Policy and related Network Services
  • ADFS or Azure SSO technologies
  • Backup principles and associated software
  • File services including NTFS security, DFSN and DFSR.
  • Understanding and exposure to Cyber Security principles.
More about the role
  • Drive high levels of system availability, capacity, reliability, data integrity, security and performance are maintained.
  • Ensure Infrastructure standards, architectural and design requirements are maintained,
  • Create, deliver and maintain consistent detailed level design documents.
  • Proactively support and drive service and technology improvements with comprehensive analysis
  • Service requests and Incident management - Investigate and analyses incidents raised by clients,
  • Understand and adhere to Change Management policies and procedures for implementing changes.
  • Please note, there will be activities after hours, including an on-call roster.
