It's a new opportunity for you to see your work making a difference in helping our local communities eat and live better, every day.About the roleWe're looking for Forklift Driver Team Members to work in our new state-of-the-art temperature-controlled ambient Automated Distribution Centre (ADC) located at Kemps Creek. These roles will be key in moving grocery products through our supply chain to provide seamless in-store experiences for our customers.As a Forklift Driver Team Member, you'll undertake a broad range of duties to support the ADC's operation including correctly identifying products and consumables, loading, unloading, picking, wrapping, moving, stacking, unstacking, tote handling, picking product into totes, decanting processes utilising material handling equipment (MHE) and the ADC's equipment and completing housekeeping tasks. You'll also be responsible for operating a forklift to move products and materials around the warehouse safely and efficiently.Key responsibilities
  • Operate a forklift to move material, supplies, and finished goods around the warehouse
  • Load and unload trucks
  • Move products from one area of the warehouse to another
  • Inspect the forklift for safety and perform routine maintenance checks
  • Assist with other tasks as assigned by the team leads
  • You'll be on your feet for long periods of time and may require some moderate to heavy lifting and reaching
About you and your skills
  • Hold an active Licence to Perform High Risk Work - Class LF Forklift Truck
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures, with a commitment to safety and quality standards
  • Possess a strong eye for detail and accuracy
  • You'll need to be comfortable working on your own and following set instructions
  • To be active - you'll be on your feet for long periods of time and may require some moderate to heavy lifting and reaching
