A leading supplier in the heavy manufacturing and fabrication industry contracted to maintain specialist heavy equipment within the Southern Sydney Area. Currently running a project to ensure availability and installation of replacement components for the duration of the lifecycle of the equipment.The Benefits

Fixed Term Contract to September 2026
Project based role
Hourly rate approx. $60-70 dependent on experience + OT + Loading
Overtime available
Additional incentives i.e. completion bonuses etc

The Role
Electrical support to a maintenance project replacing OEM parts across heavy fabricated equipment. Main duties will be:

Disconnection and reconnection of electrical control systems
Wirring panels
Supporting the Mechanical Engineers with lifting and installation of equipment
Some PLC and VSD maintenance
Replacement of malfunctioning electrical systems

The Requirements

Full NSW Electrical Licence with strong Industrial background
Experience in the heavy manufacturing, mining or heavy fabrication industries
Strong fault finding and previous installation experience
Strong stakeholder management skills
