Ability to work additional days is required when needed.Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the VisAbility Resource Centre.
  • Demonstrate ADL and Low Vision equipment to customers.
  • Process shop payments via the Online Shop and POS system.
  • Ensure online shop orders are processed and dispatched to customers within an appropriate timeframe.
  • Assist with answering client and internal queries, provide timely and accurate advice regarding equipment and services.
  • Update the system with significant client requirements (request appointment for services or call outs).
  • Create quotes and invoices in the Inventory system as required.
  • Prepare and dispatch ADL and Low Vision equipment for orders.
  • Prepare and produce in-house shop items such as Large Print Calendars, Address Books etc.
  • Ensure invoices are completed and reconciled with Accounts Department.
Desired Skills and ExperienceEssential:
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Administration skills including data entry, maintenance of records and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working in a busy environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and prioritise a range of tasks.
  • Knowledge and expertise in use of Microsoft Office programs.
  • High level keyboard skills.
  • A high sense of integrity towards your work and empathy towards clients and customers.
  • Obtain or be willing to obtain National Police Clearance and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Desirable:
  • Experience in a health care or not for profit setting will be highly regarded, as well as inventory management.
