- In collaboration with the ACCAN executive team, create and implement engagement strategies, plans, and outreach initiatives
- Drive social media efforts to encourage diverse audiences to engage with ACCAN’s issues
- Support ACCAN leadership to facilitate engagement with political, regulatory and industry stakeholders
- Manage membership strategy and overall consumer and community engagement
- Creativity and a member centric focus with a strong commitment to consumer rights
- Understanding of communication sector issues and key government, industry and regulatory stakeholders
- Ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders, in particular those in consumer/community organisations
- Strong presentation and ICT skills, with the ability to work independently
- Awareness of accessibility and inclusion issues
