The OpportunityOn behalf of a government agency based in Melbourne, we are looking for APS4 Claims Administration Officers to join the Liability Team. This role will be based in Melbourne CBD and will be a 12 month assignment and will be 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.Responsibilities will include;
  • Providing administration support to claims managers engaged in liability investigations
  • Review status of claims and progress claims by gathering outstanding information
  • Manage email inboxes and refer received information to the correct claims manager
  • Provide clients with updates on their claims, request outstanding information, explain the claim journey via email, phone, letter and SMS
  • Follow up outstanding documentation and keep orderly claims management practices regarding status
  • Respond to requests within a timely manner
  • Manage incoming calls
  • Document management, placing appropriate documentation on to clients electronic files
  • Meet all KPIs on a weekly basis that will focus on expected number of claim updates to be completed
To be considered for this role;
  • Strong admin and organisational skills
  • Ability to learn and work with multiple data systems
  • Experienced user of MS Office
  • High typing accuracy and attention to detail
  • high-level client service skills, including phone & written contact with clients & internal/external stakeholders
