Work on projects that shape our community, take pride in the work that your team delivers.ABOUT THE POSITION.As the Civil Engineer – Construction & Maintenance, you will deliver critical maintenance programs and infrastructure solutions. This operational role involves managing multiple projects simultaneously, liaising with contractors, conducting asset inspections, and overseeing civil works delivery to ensure infrastructure remains safe, functional, and up to council standards.DUTIES.

Deliver and oversee maintenance programs in collaboration with contractors
Manage procurement, contracts, and contractor performance
Conduct asset inspections and investigations to scope necessary works
Coordinate multiple operational projects across roads, drainage, footpaths, and related civil assets
Provide technical input and ensure compliance with council standards and budgets
Liaise with stakeholders and manage service requests

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.

Degree in Engineering (Civil)
Previous exposure with infrastructure projects including roads, traffic, footpaths and roadworks
High level of attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills
