- Lead and manage daily claims operations, overseeing workloads and setting performance goals
- Provide guidance and support to claims consultants regarding claims processing, customer queries, or escalated issues
- Ensure all team activities comply with internal policies, legislative standards, and regulatory requirements
- Share product knowledge and help resolve escalated claims complaints and issues
- Monitor team productivity and performance reports, identify trends, and deliver coaching to enhance results
- Foster a risk-aware environment, promoting adherence to the company’s risk framework and customer advocacy policies
- Prior managerial or team leader experience (claims or insurance sector preferred but not essential)
- Experience leading high-performance teams and developing people
- Claims or insurance industry knowledge is advantageous
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a challenging and dynamic environment
- A proactive and highly motivated approach
