This hands-on leadership role is responsible for keeping plant and equipment running at peak performance, reducing downtime, and building a strong preventative maintenance culture.You’ll manage a skilled team of trades and technicians, oversee contractors, and work closely with production and operations to ensure targets are met safely and efficiently.Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and support the maintenance team
Respond to equipment breakdowns quickly and minimise downtime
Drive preventative and predictive maintenance programs
Oversee CMMS use, schedules, and asset management
Manage contractor performance and compliance
Partner with production and operations to align priorities
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure WHS compliance
Support capital planning and improvement projects

Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or Supervisor in manufacturing
Strong technical knowledge across plant and equipment maintenance
Familiar with CMMS systems and maintenance planning
Skilled at leading and motivating teams
Strong problem-solving ability and practical execution focus
Contractor management and WHS compliance experience
Background in plastics, polymers, packaging, or FMCG (desirable)
