You will be based at Canning Vale, WA and will be responsible for using specialised equipment and performing manual handling tasks to prepare samples.Some of your tasks will be:
  • Weigh samples for analysis
  • Fluxing, firing, knock-up and cupellation of samples
  • Picking prill for digest
  • Ensure correct procedures are used and adhered to
  • Follow QHSE procedure
As a Project Metallurgist, some of your tasks will be, but not limited to:
  • Full compliance to Company QHSE requirements.
  • Managing test-work projects, including coordinating work programs with junior metallurgists and technicians, both at laboratory and pilot scale.
  • Liaising with clients to meet their test-work needs, providing regular feedback on test-work progress, technical input and analysis, and preparation of test-work reports.
  • Assisting with sales and marketing activities, such as quotations, input with promotional materials, client visits and technical presentations as required.

  • Reliable and keen to work
  • Physically fit, prepared to carry out manual tasks
  • Be able to work an 8 hour Rotating Day and Night shift Roster
  • Have the ability to follow set procedures and good attention to detail
  • Be willing to work as part of a team with a high focus on quality & safety
What is the roster:
  • Monday to Friday roster - Day and Afternoon Shifts
