You will be based at Canning Vale, WA and will be responsible for using specialised equipment and performing manual handling tasks to prepare samples.Some of your tasks will be:

Weigh samples for analysis
Fluxing, firing, knock-up and cupellation of samples
Picking prill for digest
Ensure correct procedures are used and adhered to
Follow QHSE procedure

As a Project Metallurgist, some of your tasks will be, but not limited to:

Full compliance to Company QHSE requirements.
Managing test-work projects, including coordinating work programs with junior metallurgists and technicians, both at laboratory and pilot scale.
Liaising with clients to meet their test-work needs, providing regular feedback on test-work progress, technical input and analysis, and preparation of test-work reports.
Assisting with sales and marketing activities, such as quotations, input with promotional materials, client visits and technical presentations as required.

Reliable and keen to work
Physically fit, prepared to carry out manual tasks
Be able to work an 8 hour Rotating Day and Night shift Roster
Have the ability to follow set procedures and good attention to detail
Be willing to work as part of a team with a high focus on quality & safety

What is the roster:

Monday to Friday roster - Day and Afternoon Shifts
