Your core tasks will involve leading the end-to-end delivery of data products, defining engineering best practices, and mentoring teammates to elevate the team's capabilities. To drive success in this role, you will have extensive experience in software engineering, particularly with building and operating large-scale data systems or AI/ML solution platforms. You'll possess strong skills in system design and architecture, cloud infrastructure, and a proven ability to deliver robust, cost-effective solutions. Leadership qualities, including experience in setting technical standards and mentoring others, are essential.Key Responsibilities:System Development: Build and maintain the solutions that powers key business functions like experimentation platform, personalisation, dynamic pricing and so on.AI Tooling Development: Own the best practices for AI Agents, and enable other business functions to deploy AI Agents to solve real business problemsSystem Reliability & Observability: Design and implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to guarantee high availability and performance. Proactively identify, debug, and resolve production issues to maintain exceptional system health.Technical Leadership: Define and establish engineering standards and best practices for the Data Team to follow.SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEWhat you will bring:A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, coupled with 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a demonstrated focus on building and maintaining highly scalable data-intensive systems.Proven experience building and deploying applications powered by LLMs, utilizing best practices such as RAG, prompt engineering, agents and working with vector databases.A strong foundation in software engineering principles with a demonstrated ability to design, build, and maintain clean, scalable, and testable pure Python-based solutions and internal libraries.Hands-on experience with the end-to-end ML lifecycles, and experienced with ML production deployment, Kubernetes orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines.Deep expertise in Site Reliability Engineering principles and practical experience with modern observability and monitoring tools, and Infrastructure as Code.PROFICIENCIES AND ATTRIBUTESWhat you will have:Ownership mindset with the ability to lead ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives to measurable outcomes.An Innovative and Curious Mindset: You are passionate about staying at the forefront of technology, demonstrating a relentless curiosity for new domains like Generative AI.You have an unwavering commitment to quality and reliability.
