We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management, with a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes and maintaining high standards of hygiene and efficiency.

Duties Include:

• Plan menus and estimate food and labor costs
• Order food supplies and manage inventory levels efficiently.
• Monitor the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
• Discuss food preparation and service with Managers, Dietitians, and other staff
• Demonstrate cooking techniques and advise on proper food preparation procedures
• Prepare and cook a variety of meals to a high standard
• Explain and enforce hygiene and safety regulations
• May be responsible for selecting and training kitchen staff
• May oversee freezing and preserving of foods to maintain freshness

Requirement.

• Proven experience in similar role.
• Relevant qualification.
• Ability to work on pressure in fast-paced environment
• Leadership qualities and the ability to mentor junior staff

Position Details:

• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Hours: 38 hours per week
• Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 per annum (based on experience) plus superannuation.
