Position: ICT Support Technician (nec) – Full-Time
Salary: $75,000 – $79,000 + Superannuation
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled ICT Support Technician (nec) to join our team in Hillarys, WA. This role requires strong technical knowledge and customer service skills to provide effective IT and device support solutions, both in-store and across client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to operating systems, applications, and connectivity.
- Install, configure, and maintain ICT equipment and mobile device systems.
- Assist in the setup of networks, servers, and cloud-based systems as required.
- Carry out routine maintenance, updates, and security checks on ICT systems.
- Train staff and clients in the correct use of hardware, software, and mobile technology.
- Maintain accurate service records, logs, and documentation of repairs and support activities.
- Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level ICT specialists or vendors when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, as well as ICT security standards.
- Provide high-level customer service by explaining technical information in plain terms.
Skills & Experience
- Diploma or higher qualification in Information Technology, Computer Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in ICT technical support or a similar role.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, operating systems, and networking.
- Experience in mobile device repairs, software installation, and upgrades.
- Knowledge of ICT security standards, backup systems, and preventative maintenance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small, customer-focused team.
