Welders

Eco Group are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Welders to join their team in Dandenong South VIC.

The successful Candidate will need to undertake and possess:

- Ability to read and interpret drawing to a high standard and recognising welding specifications and method and sequence of operations
- Selecting, cleaning and preparing metal stock
- Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machines
- Shaping and bending metal sections and pipes using hand and machine tools, and by heating and hammering
- Aligning parts and joining metal sections using hand tools and measuring instruments utilising various techniques, bolting and riveting
- Examining welds for width of bead, penetration and precision
- Finishing products by cleaning, smoothing, polishing, filing and bathing in acidic solutions


Skills & Attributes:

- At least 3 years’ experience as a welder or related trade
- Certificate III in Engineering (Welding Fabrication) or equivalent qualification
- Proficiency in MIG, Arc and Flux core welding
 

Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience
